Don't Jump the Gun

6/3/2014

Well in the past we have posted pictures of a couple of rabbits that we loved.  They were the plumpest cutest babies (of course).  They were our favorites.  And then.... dun dun dun.  The uglies won.  We loved them and  and had high hopes only to come to the conclusion that many adorable traits that we see in the little babies, often don't last.  Well, this time we kind of had a different experience.  We had a little doe that we liked.  Based on personality alone she was a keeper.  But by about 6 weeks Kait was fairly certain she didn't want her.  We even offered her up to a little girl needing a 4H animal, however she only wanted a buck.  So we held on to her and not even a week later we began to see something in her that we liked.  She is just now starting to molt and is really turning into a little beauty.  She is very compact and solid which we are really working for.  We present to you AceHops Maeve.  She is not even 3 months old yet so she should start looking nicer and nicer after her molt completes.
