We also have another promising buck, Wombat. He is just finishing up his jr molt so we're waiting for his head to grow in some. So far we like what we see, however we have been pretty picky on our bucks and haven't kept one to use so far. In the midst of being picky about bucks, we have been smitten by a blue point buck. For the longest time we thought he was a blue tort, then we thought perhaps smoke pearl, now we are ending with a blue point. He is so nice however we may hang on to him for a bit. We didn't really have any plans of working with dilute, but we ended up with some nice dilutes that we can't quite part with.
Along with our bucks,, we have a few promising jr does as well. Our most exciting, being a little blue tort. We have no doubt about wanting to hang on to her, however she has two litter mate sisters that are also looking promising. Sigh. Decisions decisions.
We have had a fun season of learning that we have fuzzy in our lines, and dilute. Now where to go from here only time will tell.
We will be moving on a few animals. We are parting with one of our favorite senior Does, along with several others.
Stay tuned for updates in our Juniors section as we ad updated photos.
